Still, her broadside power is not to be trifled with, considering she has the second highest AP citadel damage in the game at 15,750 per shell thanks to her hefty 18-inch AP shells, second only to the Shikishima. She does comes with a much more forgiving dispersion curve and a 26 second reload to compensate, though this is but a small mercy as Georgia will most certainly be lagging behind other battleships in terms of damage output. Georgia comes packed with six 18-inch guns in three twin-turrets, an arrangement that is (rather unfortunately) familiar to Gneisenau captains. A low number of hard-hitting guns, superior secondaries, and a special set of consumables make this "paper ship" perform very differently from her US counterparts like Iowa or Missouri. Georgia is loaded with so many gimmicks that any high tier Soviet, French, or Royal Navy battleship would be envious of her. The data presented in the AA Defense sidebar section may be incorrect.įor a graphic summary of ships Tiers VIII thru XI see LittleWhiteMouse's "Actual AA DPS". If the team ain't on board, it's effectiveness is severely reduced.Warning. Hence, radar on Missouri takes TEAM PLAY. Although radar pens land masses, a Missouri hiding behind land to radar spot a DD pretty much takes itself out of the ability to take out that DD, or in many cases anybody else. But there is a definite learning curve on how and when to use its radar.Īlso keep in mind that radar takes the spotter slot, so a Missouri does not have spotter plane. I've since pushed my Missouri into the 50s. Many games play out where I either never get to fire it up, or do so because I've still got all the charges and pop it for a serendipitous hit. Although I play the radar slant with Missouri, it's often NOT the primary mode of my deployment. It ain't a simple thing to push up in a BB that can get detected by DDs outside radar range, and subsequently focused and deleted by the rest of the reds. I realized I was pushing too hard BECAUSE I had radar. Ironically, as a pushy BB player, my initial rate with Missouri was 45%.worse than my Iowa. I think it is a good thing on a BB, it rewards BB players that actually push up.
